By placing an order through this website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are intended to clearly set expectations and protect both parties regarding order fulfilment and delivery. We list over 1,500 products across a wide price range ($1–$10,000 AUD per item). Due to the size and scope of our catalogue, not all products are stocked in our warehouse at all times.
Stock Availability & Dispatch Timeframes
In-Stock Items
Orders for in-stock items are typically dispatched within 24 hours to up to 2–3 weeks, depending on the specific part number, supplier location, quantities ordered, and warehouse availability.
If you require your order urgently (including same-day or next-day dispatch), we strongly recommend contacting us prior to ordering to confirm current stock location and dispatch capability, as this can significantly affect delivery timeframes.
Out-of-Stock Items
If an item is not currently available from Marine Specialists or our suppliers, estimated lead times can be provided upon request. Availability notes are displayed on most product listings; however, discrepancies may occur due to supplier stock changes and global freight delays beyond our control.
For urgent requirements, customers are strongly encouraged to confirm availability prior to placing an order.
Freight Selection: Standard vs Express:
Selecting Standard or Express freight applies only to transit time once dispatched.
It does not affect order processing, picking, packing, or dispatch priority.
1. General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. If you have contacted us to check stock and we have advised the stock is available this is only valid duiring the time of contact. We can not hold parts without payment and strongly encourage all orders to be placed as soon as availablity is known.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.
3. Returns
3.1 Change of Mind
We do not accept returns for change of mind. Please ensure products are selected carefully prior to purchase
3.2 Warranty Returns (Australian Customers Only)
We will honour valid warranty claims in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty claims must be submitted within 7 days of receipt. Customers are required to pre-pay return shipping costs. Once the item is received and assessed, warranty claims are typically processed within 7 days.
If the warranty claim is approved, you may choose:

(b) A replacement item (subject to availability)
4. Delivery Terms
4.1 Transit Time Domestically
Domestic shipments are generally delivered within 2–7 business days after dispatch.
4.2 Transit time Internationally
International deliveries typically take 4–22 business days, depending on the selected courier and destination
4.3 Orders
Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday during standard business hours, excluding national public holidays. Orders will be dispatched same-day where possible; otherwise, they will be dispatched at the next available opportunity based on stock availability and courier schedules.
4.4 Change Of Delivery Address
Delivery address changes can be made at any time prior to dispatch.
4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
We ship to P.O. Box addresses using postal services only. Courier delivery is not available to P.O. Boxes
4.6 Items Out Of Stock
If part of your order is out of stock, we may dispatch available items and refund the unavailable item(s), unless otherwise agree
4.7 Backorder Items
If your order is placed on backorder, your account will be updated within 24 hours of order receipt. While we endeavour to notify all customers via email, customers are encouraged to monitor their account for status updates if the order is time-sensitive.
4.8 Price Changes
While we strive to maintain accurate pricing, errors may occur. If a pricing discrepancy is identified after purchase and the price increase exceeds 10%, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed or receive a full refund.
5. Tracking Notifications
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking notification allowing you to monitor delivery progress via the courier.
6. Parcels Damaged In Transit
If your parcel arrives damaged, please reject it where possible and contact our customer service team immediately. If damage is discovered after delivery, contact us promptly for further instructions.
7. Duties & Taxes
Australian GST is included in the displayed product prices. International customers are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, or customs charges imposed by the destination country.
8. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at any time prior to dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellations are subject to our Returns Policy.
9. Insurance
Parcels are insured for loss or damage up to the value declared with the courier.
