By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.
Simplified Terms for "Marine Specialists" Webstore:
We list over 1500 products on our webstore with a range of pricing ($1-$10,000aud); because of this we can not stock every product within our warehouse.
If In Stock: Your order will be dispatched within 24 hours to 2-3 weeks, depending on part number, product, quantities, etc.
IF YOU NEED YOUR ORDER WITHIN 24hrs; it is highly recommended that you contact us to ensure which warehouse the item(s) are located in as this will dramatically affect the timeframe of your order.
Out of Stock: This item is currently not available in stock with Marine Specialists or Suppliers. Estimated timeframes can be provided upon request.
Due to the above we strongly recommend contacting us prior to ordering & request the current availabiltity if a part is required urgently. We do have notes on most products advising if we need to order in those parts,however discrepencys can occur and we endeavour to get all orders out promptly, however due to parts availability worldwide in some circumstances these times are extended to due to freight delays outside of our control.
Selecting Standard or Express Freight:
This does not reflect the speed of which your order is picked, packed and dispatched.
This solely relates to the speed of which your order is delivered with the respective shipping service you select.
1. General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. If you have contacted us to check stock and we have advised the stock is available this is only valid duiring the time of contact. We can not hold parts without payment and strongly encourage all orders to be placed as soon as availablity is known.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.
3. Returns
3.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind
We do not accept returns due to change of mind - please ensure you select your products carefully.
3.2 Warranty Returns - **Australian Customers Only**
We will happily honour any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 7 days of receipt of items. Customers will be required to pre-pay the return shipping. Upon return receipt of items for warranty claim, you can expect to process your warranty claim within 7 days. Once warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:
(a) a refund in store credit
(b) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)
4. Delivery Terms
4.1 Transit Time Domestically
In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 - 7 days
4.2 Transit time Internationally
Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 4 - 22 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier you have selected.
4.3 Orders
Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum. Orders will be allocated for same day dispatch when & if this is possible with your order, otherwise will be dispatched as soon as possible depending on courier collections.
4.4 Change Of Delivery Address
For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.
4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
We will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.
4.6 Items Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will cancel and refund the out-of-stock items and dispatch the rest of the order.
4.7 Backorder Items
It is recommended to check your account when an order is placed (if you haven't checked if stock is accurate) and the order is required urgently.
Your account will be updated within 24 hours once your order is recieved should it go into a backorder status. We endevour to let all customers know about backorders, however it is recommended to check your account incase we miss the order to inform you via email.
4.8 Change of Costs
We strive to maintain accurate stock levels and pricing. However, occasional discrepancies may occur. In the event that the cost of purchased parts increases, we reserve the right to adjust the prices accordingly. Should the price change exceed 10%, we will notify you regarding any additional payment required.
5. Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.
6. Parcels Damaged In Transit
If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with next steps.
7. Duties & Taxes
Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website
8. Cancellations
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.
9. Insurance
Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.
9.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
